Hitler didn’t hold back with his real plans after the Olympic event. The Jewish athletes weren’t allowed to compete then, even when they had real talent. Rather, these people were persecuted and dismissed from society. Many were killed and for those who weren’t, they died from starvation and diseases related to malnutrition.

The Nazi history has been a source of shame to many Germans. The complex that was once beautiful was left to decay and fall into ruins. In fact, much of the area has remained untouched and forgotten that many citizens are unaware of its existence. As of 2015, the government has started making plans to convert the village into townhouses and apartments to allow space for the population boom.
