Truth Comes Out

The veil of lies only covered up the truth so much. The Olympic committee wanted to send a message of peace and unity to the rest of the world, but their efforts came crashing down. As everyone knows, Hitler and his followers went on to commit the most heinous crimes known to man.

No Letting Go

After the games were held, people couldn’t let go of the past. The Olympic Village now sits in ruins, decaying as time moves on. Photographers such as Sylvain Margaine have visited a site and published a book about it. They’ve explored the abandoned heritage and have showcased the Nazis cruelty to the rest of the world. Their works serve as painful reminders of the past everybody wanted to forget.
