When asked if she had been sexually violated, the woman didn’t answer. All she said was that Officer Miller rescued her “just in time.” Detective Barnhart believed that the woman had been held and tortured for a long time, judging by her severe injuries. Images of her injuries also revealed that delicate parts of her body were punctured with sharp objects.
