Candace Walsh and Douglas Zyskowski
The couple he picked up on that particular day was Candace Walsh and her husband Douglas Zyskowski. The couple had no idea that this was going to be their last day together. The driver killed Zyskowski and threw his body in Sutton County, between El Paso and San Antonio, Texas. Zyskowski’s body was found later, but it wasn’t until 1992 when it was finally identified. Meanwhile, the driver held Candace captive for over a week from the time she was picked up. She was brutally tortured and raped by the truck driver several times before she was murdered. He dumped her body in Millard County, Utah.
