A search warrant was granted five days after Rhoades was apprehended. FBI agents conducted a search of Rhoades’ Houston apartment as other agents located his wife. They recovered women’s clothing, some bondage items, and a couple of white towels, one of which was covered in blood. According to the victims, Rhoades would often place a white towel beneath them each time he sexually tortured them.
