Getting Money
Just before visiting Clay, Jacque had withdrawn money from an ATM in Cape Girardeau. She promised to buy him some medicines after she dropped by his house. Then, she picked him up before going to the pharmacy together. But that was the last time anybody saw her.
Ending in a Bloodbath
On June 11, 2011, Clay and Jacque got into a heated argument once again. He lost his temper and had started choking her with his forearm on her neck. He also struck her several times on the face and head. These all happened in Clay’s home, and at that time, he wanted to immediately get rid of evidence.
