Traces of Blood

Investigators went to Clay’s home and found a crawl space where a carpet was hidden. When they inspected it, they found traces of blood that had been immediately sent to the forensics team for confirmation. This time, he couldn’t even deny what they found. So, Clay had no excuse but to admit everything that happened on that fateful night.

Coming to an Agreement

Even to the very last minute, Clay held on to whatever he could. He made a deal to the prosecutors: he would confess everything and he would only be tried for second-degree murder.
