Taking Them Away
In spite of the fact that it was just the daughter that was in bad shape, Child Protective Services still decided to remove both children from the Pomeroy home. It was obvious to them that the parents were failing at their jobs to take care of one of the children, and they couldn’t leave it up to chance by leaving the 12-year old brother in their custody.
