It Wasn’t The First Time
When CPS looked further into the children’s backgrounds, they would find out that the agency had actually been called in about 3 years before, in March 2005. One of the teachers of Stillwater Elementary School, where the young teen was studying at the time, had told CPS about a conversation she had with the girl about what was happening to her at home. Despite being in school, while she was at home, her stepmom was already starving her, locking her in her room and basically maltreating her.
