The Grandfather, Robert Stokes
The grandfather of the children’s biological mother, was a man named Robert Stokes. He had shared that Jon, the kids’ father, was “quiet and just a little odd.” His marriage to the daughter of Mr. Stokes didn’t work out, and when they broke up soon after the birth of their son. Although it’s not explained why, Jon was given custody of his two young children.
