She Was Being Starved
It would seem that Rebecca Long was slowly starving her stepdaughter to death. As punishment for whatever Rebecca believed the girl was doing wrong, she would restrict her diet by only giving her a few pieces of toast to eat, and half a cup of water from a tiny Dixie cup per day. It would also seem, that since Rebecca was doing this every single day, for years, the young girl was continually being ‘disciplined’ every day.
