Going To Court
When her dad and stepmom showed up to court, the teenager had written a letter to her father, which she had planned to read out while on the podium, but she was too overcome with emotion and she just couldn’t do it. Basically, the letter said that she “did not have a father who loved and cared for me.” She also explained about Rebecca’s “harsh punishments” that would leave her bruised for a week, as well as how her homeschooling lasted just one year, “Then I was told to work on my own, and voila no education at all.”
