TIMOTHY THE BANK ROBBER
People often wish that karma strike those who have stolen money from others, bank robbers in particular. Timothy Elliott was exactly that man. He didn’t lead an honest life, and at the same time, the man was admittedly cuckoo. He was arrested for unarmed robbery in Cape Coda and during his probation, he was prohibited from gambling and buying lottery tickets. He obviously didn’t listen and won $1 million from a lottery scratch-off ticket. During his trial, the judge didn’t take his money because he reasoned that the money wasn’t the issue here, it was the act of purchasing the ticket. But with a man who’s a sandwich short of a picnic, no one can really expect the cash to be wisely invested.
