Amanda Clayton was no stranger to the drug scene. She was broke and was dependent on the food stamps that the government supplied her with on a monthly basis. When she won a million dollars, she still kept using the said stamps. She was charged for fraud and served nine months of probation. She failed to outsmart the welfare system, and eventually, her body gave up and died of an overdose even before she was able to serve the full nine months. Sadly, she’s not the only addict here who lost lottery money to vices.
