Edward Seward was a regular customer at Waffle House. He was close to the employees there and treated them like family. He often shared his lottery tickets with his “friends,” and one of them was Tonda Lynn Dickerson. Her ticket won $10 million and she decided to stay quiet. After all, it’s finder’s keepers and losers weepers for her. The crew and Waffle House, Grand Bay, Alabama, didn’t like this. They took her to court, claiming that she falsely misrepresented herself. Since there was no written contract involved, she won, but ended up paying around $9 million in taxes. She’s no longer at Waffle House, but chances are, she’s waitressing elsewhere.
