Becoming President Of The WTCSN

Tania eventually became the head of the World Trade Center Survivors’ Network. It was said that, not only was she heralded as a prime leader and spokesperson for the 20,000 survivors, but her story brought feelings of hope and joy in what seemed like an endless tale of pain and sadness. She even had a plaque placed in the Tribute Center to honor her, which had a quote written on it which she herself had shared. It would seem that she was the epitome of optimism in a nation that needed it so much. And Tania reveled in the limelight, sharing her experiences with anyone who would let her. But soon enough, everything would start to unravel itself for the actual truth.

6 Years Later

The New York Times was looking for someone to talk about the attacks and represent the people in what had happened during the 9/11 attacks. It was for an anniversary piece 6 years after the tragedy, and they decided that Tania Head would be the perfect person to interview. She originally agreed to the do the piece, but soon enough, she began to cancel her interviews and eventually, she refused to speak to the Times at all.
