Finding Her Salvation

After making the almost impossible 78 floors down to find her exit, she spotted a man named Welles Crowther, who would later on become one of the biggest heroes of 9/11. He died so that he could save 12 other people from the burning Twin Tower buildings. She shares how he had helped lead her to safety while he went back inside the burning building to save more people. And as soon as she was out, she claims that the building totally collapsed and sent her flying again, this time under a rig.

Waking Up The Hospital

After the entire event, she says that she finally came to, 6 days after the terrifying event. She woke up in a hospital burns unit, where nobody knew who she was as she was supposedly labeled as a Jane Doe. This is also where she had learned of her supposed fiancé’s death. Dave had never made it out of the North Tower, she says. It would seem that from that day forward, Tania would become a beacon of hope and possibility in a series of tragedy from the 9/11 events by being a survivor amongst thousands whom had sadly died.
