The World Trade Center

New York is known for many things, and its dramatic skyline is one of them. The iconic World Trade Center Twin Towers were a proud display of what it meant to be in America, living the American dream, and for just being a display of amazing architecture in one of the world’s most expensive cities to live in, ever. At the time of the attacks, the twin towers housed over 430 different companies and had around 50,000 employees, and it would have over 140,000 visitors everyday as well.

8:46 a.m. On A Tuesday Morning

If you ask anyone who is at least 15-years old and above, if not a bit younger, they’ll probably be able to tell you exactly where they were the moment the first airplane hit the North Tower of New York’s World Trade Center. It happened at exactly 8:46 a.m. on a beautiful Tuesday morning while many people were still on their way to work. The towers already had some of the earlier birds up in their offices when the first plane hit between floors 93-99 of the first tower, killing all 92 people on board.
