Willing To Listen To Her Side

According to Guglielmo, he was willing to hear her side of the story so that she could explain why she would choose to fool the world with her outright lies. He shares, “I went up to her apartment the day that the Times article came out. I wanted to give her a chance to tell her side of the story.” And although supposedly she had told him that she would share her side one day, Tania never did, pretty much going into hiding after everything that happened.

How Dare She?

In 2011, at the 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Guglielmo shares that he actually saw Tania in the city. He says that she said, “Don’t come near me, Angelo. Get away from me.” To which he said to her, “How could you show up here during the 10th anniversary? How could you?” He decided to walk away, knowing nothing good could come from talking to her then. He goes on to say, “I took no pleasure in that encounter. That night, I replayed the video and cringed. I felt sad. And sorry. Did that mean I forgave her? Who the hell knows? I didn’t even know who she was.” And we’re pretty certain that most of America feels exactly the same way.
