After the initial autopsy on Kelsey’s body, what police had found out was as horrific as what they believed. Hall followed Kelsey around Target with the intention of kidnapping her. He then drove her into the woods and went on to commit rape, sodomy, and murder. Her main cause of death was strangulation by her own belt, which Hall had used to tie around her neck and choke her to death.
