Vanishing Water

The mesmerizing sight of the Lake Berryessa hole and its surrounding water vanishing deep within its belly may be the first one that Evan had ever witnessed in his life but the phenomenon isn’t entirely unique. All around the world, bodies of water have appeared to have “vanished” into oblivion only to return again as if nothing happened. These seasonal occurrences have already caught the world’s attention in the past and in the United States, Lost Lake in Oregon and Devil’s Kettle Falls in Minnesota are somewhat similar to the phenomenon that Evan wanted to investigate.

Science Fiction

Since Kilkus still wasn’t sure of what it was he was staring into, a question was burning deep in his mind: What was this mysterious hole in the middle of Lake Berryesa? Too many explanations kept flooding his head, mostly triggered by science fiction fantasy as he was thinking of the possibility that this could be a portal to another dimension or a wormhole, perhaps, to a parallel universe.
He had to find out more.
