Lucky Shot

What should have been a walk in the park for Evan was proving to be the exact opposite. Problems with his drone have unexpectedly put the brakes on his attempt to find out what exactly this mysterious hole was inside Lake Berryessa.
Evan initially attempted to fly his trusted device closer to the void in an attempt to get a clearer view of what he was only observing from afar. His thorough check on the drone showed that it was a battery problem which was easy to solve but still left a dent in his investigation since he was very eager to get answers. Before dismissing the failed attempt, he made one last check to find out whether the drone was able to at least get a photograph of the vortex.
As luck would have it, it did, and the image that he saw blew his mind.
The pit was much, much larger that what he initially thought which only fuelled his desire to investigate even more.

What Lies Beneath

Kikus’s second attempt at flying his drone near the hole was now a success, filming footage of the gigantic hollow as it pulled the water around it within its bowels. That still wasn’t enough for the curious Evan as he was now itching, more than ever, to get even closer, contemplating how to get a good glimpse of the pit from within.
