U Bein Bridge, Myanmar

Considered the ‘world’s longest teak footbridge,’ it’s built across the Taungthaman Lake in Myanmar. Originally made out of 1086 wooden poles, some have since been changed to concrete to maintain safety. Many visitors usually come to walk across the 4000-mile pathway during sunset when they can wait to view the spectacular sky dim and change colors. And considering the fact that the bridge still sits mostly on stilts, it will surely make your mind wonder if it’s strong enough to hold the hundreds of visitors that walk on it each and every day.
