Quepos Bridge, Costa Rica
Given that the Quepos Bridge in Costa Rica is referred to by the locals as the “Bridge of Death,” it makes you wonder if it’s actually worth the trip over it. Yet despite the nickname, people still drive their vehicles across it, even with the missing planks and wide gaps that have formed from the parts that are no longer there. The bridge is over 130-feet above the water and creaks as the cars go over it, and yet, people still pass through it and will continue to do so until the day its finally no longer passable.
