Going Back To Help Others

Doing what many others possibly wouldn’t have done in this kind of situation, rather than thinking about his safety, Kody decided to head back inside the concert grounds and see how he could help others. He shares that he and others like him, were running between the bodies laying on the ground to see if they were still alive or not, helping bring those still alive to the sidelines to get the help they needed.

Doing What They Could

Aside from all the people that he had seen cowering behind the bleachers and anywhere else they could find shelter, Kody was attempting to do what he could. He shares, “We put a girl on a beer cooler to try to push her out, we were carrying people out on the steel barriers from the perimeter. Wives screaming at husbands to wake up, and a husband on top of his wife trying to do CPR.” One could only imagine the chaos and terror that consumed all those in attendance.
