Michelle’s Phone Rings

While making his way to yet another hospital in search of Michelle, all of a sudden, her phone began ringing. It was already after 3 a.m. when he had gotten to the other hospital. He had been walking up and down the strip to the different hospitals and trauma centers, still in his blood-covered clothing from the endless number of victims he had helped. He quickly picked it up and said hello.

It Was Her Brother-In-Law

Michelle’s brother-in-law, Jeremiah Hawkins, was on the other end of the line. One of the first things Jeremiah said was, “Please tell me that she’s okay,” not even knowing the man who had answered her phone. Kody explained the situation, and who exactly he was. And despite not knowing yet where Michelle was, or if she was even still alive, he promised Jeremiah that he would find her.
