Gorman Dogfight
On October 1, 1948, Capt. George F. Gorman of the North Dakota Air National Guard flew over Fargo, North Dakota when suddenly, he encountered an unidentified ball of light which flew at incredible speeds. He chased the UFO for 27 minutes, but it was so fast that his plane couldn’t keep up. Eventually, he lost sight of it.
