Kaikoura Lights
In December 1978, crew members of Safe Air Ltd cargo plane saw strange lights while they were flying above the Kaikoura mountain ranges in the northeast of New Zealand’s South Island. According to the crew members, the lights shifted in color and size. Some of the lights were about as big as a house, others were small and flashing brightly.
