Belgian UFO Wave
Between November 1989 and April 1990, a massive series of UFO sightings occurred in Belgium. Unlike most other sightings, the UFOs seen over Belgium were triangular. The objects were tracked on radar and were pursued by two F-16s. The event was widely photographed and witnessed by some 13,500 people on the ground. More than 2,500 confirmed the sightings with written statements with detailed descriptions of what took place.
