Already Seeing Someone Else

Jill knew that she was in a pickle and she needed a way out given that her web of lies and deceit were soon catching up to her. She would meet and marry a 9th husband, Roy Carroll, for short bit, but he wouldn’t be her last. While divorcing him, she was already seeing someone else, a man named Michael Backus who worked as TV repair man, and he would become her 10th husband, and finally her last.

Finally Getting Caught

While married to Michael, Jill knew she needed to do something about Gerry before she would lose everything in their annulment. So she convinced her new husband to help her kill Gerry, believing that once more, she would be awarded his estate. So when Gerry was found dead, shot and beaten to death in his home, police only wanted to look into one person, and that was Jill Coit. Afraid of what was to happen, she and Michael fled to Mexico, thinking they could find a way out. But unbelievably, she had told her son Seth about her plans to kill Gerry and when she finally went through with it, she told her son Seth, “Hey baby, it’s over and it’s messy.” And this is when his conscience could no longer take it.
