Raking as the worst city in Florida to live in, it also is ranked 14th in the United States and is the 2nd city to appear in this list of cities to avoid when looking for a place to live in. Its residents earn a little above 1/3 of the annual household income nationwide. This, coupled with a high cost of living in the Miami-Dade County adds much of a strain on budgets, causing over 23,000 of its 68,000 residents living below the poverty limits. Food businesses such as Café’s, Bars, and Restaurants avoid this city, making even leisure and socializing difficult compared to what other cities are able to do elsewhere in the country.
