Riley’s parents knew her so well that they did not believe that she would have run away. The day before Riley went missing, Chantel had to take a nap before going to work as she was not feeling well and she asked Riley to wake her up when she gets home from school. Riley did and everything seemed so normal. She checked Riley’s things just to make certain, but she knew Riley would never do such a thing. Riley doesn’t even have her learner’s permit yet and has no access to a car. Her father, Lance, agreed and added that his daughter is “very gentle” and “has never hurt anyone in her life.”
