Riley Grace Crossman, 15, was the eldest child of Chantel Oakley and Lance Crossman. With her parents divorced, she had been splitting her time between her father and mother’s homes in Martinsburg and Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, respectively. A high school student at Berkeley Springs High School, she was said to be a natural artist and had a talent for dancing. She also belonged to the school’s gymnastics team. She has three younger siblings, a younger sister named Jade, and two little brothers, Ryder and Ryker. She had been living a pretty typical teenager’s life until that fateful day in May.
