Chantel Oakley last saw her daughter Riley in the afternoon of May 7, at around 3:30 PM when Riley came home from school and woke her up for her evening shift that day. Riley’s maternal grandmother, who was also at the Greenway Drive residence in Berkeley Springs that day, reported seeing the teenager at around 7:00 PM. When Chantel returned from work that night, at around 10:00 PM, she noticed that the light in Riley’s room was still on. However, she did not go in and just assumed that her daughter was just in her room and still up. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Andy McCauley, was sleeping downstairs.
