7. Hello Clarice

One of the creepiest and most disturbing characters in movie history is that of the psychopathic and cannibalistic Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the film series, The Silence of the Lambs. The role, played by seasoned theater actor, Sir Anthony Hopkins, won him an Academy Award for Best Actor in 1992, as he perfectly convinced the audience that the good ol’ doctor was out to have a taste of their livers if he was just given the chance.
