10. Here comes the Bride

In the Showdown in the House of Blue Leaves scene of the 2003 cult classic Kill Bill Vol. 1 by visionary director Quentin Tarantino, The Bride, played by Uma Thurman, and O-Ren Ishii, portrayed by Lucy Liu, face off in a bloody catfight to the death with razor sharp swords. The Bride’s scorn for her fellow assassin is palpable as she seeks vengeance for the betrayal that was done to her by her former employer and comrades.
