Martin MacNeill had also come from meager beginnings. His parents struggled regularly for money, with his father being an alcoholic who chose to leave his family. Sadly, his mom would choose to prostitute herself just to get by, and Martin witnessed all of this from an incredibly young age. But he wouldn’t allow this to define him, able to make something out of his life. He joined the military, but would be discharged due to schizophrenia, something Michele hadn’t known at first.

Michele And Martin Meet For The First Time

Michele and Martin would eventually meet in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at a function for younger church members. It would seem that they both saw characteristics in each other that they admired, and were quite similar to each other as well. They were both driven, good looking, and seemingly wanted the same things in life. The attraction was instant, and their relationship would go into high gear almost instantly.
