They Ended Up Eloping

Just six months after they started dating, the couple would end up eloping. They were married on February 21, 1978, although they would hit a bump on the road just four months after when Martin was sent to jail for ‘a six-month sentence for forgery, theft and fraud.’ But when he was home, they would end up doing the one thing they had both dreamed of for so long, start a family.

It Was All An Act

While Martin would finish his medical studies, they would start their family. Yet, while Michele was so happy with her new life, it would seem that Michele’s mother and sister had never liked Martin at all. Unbelievably, Michele’s mom would be the one who would find out about Marin’s military discharge due to schizophrenia. Incredibly, she had even told her other two daughters when Martin and Michele first married, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he killed her some day.” And sadly, her premonition would one day become a reality.
