Leaving For School

Alexis stayed by her mother’s side for almost a week but she needed to get back to Las Vegas to attend to her classes. It had been five days since the surgery, and her mom was in ‘terrific spirits,’ which made her feel secure that she was well on her way to a full recovery. But unbelievably, just eighteen hours after Alexis went back to university, her mother was found dead.

Drowned In The Bathtub

On August 11, 2007, Martin had been out with one of his younger daughters, leaving Michele at home. When they got back, he told Ada to look for Michele, but what she would walk into was something a child should never see. Her mom was floating in the bathtub, unresponsive. Martin would walk into the scene, find his wife unconscious and call 911. He told them his wife had seemingly drowned in the bathtub, and he was trying CPR, but she just wasn’t waking up.
