While Librescu’s life was honored at an Orthodox, Jewish funeral home in Brooklyn, New York, his body was flown to Israel for his actual funeral. There were over 500 people in attendance, aside from his family, that included foreign diplomats, friends and other people who wanted to honor his life, as well as his death.
