One More Year

7 years into Gary’s coma, his family happened to be having a discussion about Gary, trying to figure out the next step to take for a sickness he had contracted, which was going to affect his life. And this is when Gary decided to chime in, speaking for the first time in over 7 years. And for the next 18 hours he progressively spoke more, and even recognized his family as they came to visit him as they learned about his incredulous comeback. But while he was just getting back into the groove of his life, he ended up passing away after getting a blood clot in his lungs.
