Terry Wallis

Terry Wallis of Stone County, Arkansas happened to be a young, robust man of just 19 years who had just become a dad. Regrettably, he got into a horrific car accident on July 13, 1984, which managed to kill two of his friends but leave Terry a paraplegic, meaning he was paralyzed from the neck down.

Placed In A Home

Due to his vegetative state, Terry was placed in a home where they could take care of all his needs. But while he was there, his family would come and visit him all the time. His mom, Angilee, made sure to be there as often as she could, and she would attempt to engage Terry with music and TV shows that he once enjoyed, even if he didn’t really respond.
