The Las Vegas tragedy that happened during the Route 91 Festival just last October 1, 2017, has proven to be the worst mass shooting event that modern America has ever known. And while 59 families mourn the lives of their loved ones that were lost, while another 527 victims suffer from an unbelievable amount of almost fatal wounds, there are also many others that were thankfully spared from one madman’s rampage.
This particular story shares the fear of one young lady when Stephen Paddock’s shooting rage began, and how the bravery of a single marine made all the difference in her life.
Route 91 Harvest Music Festival
The Route 91 Harvest Music Festival was held from September 29 to October 1, 2017 and was a 3-day event, just like the ones held for the 3 years before this one. It was staged in a 15-acre open lot off the iconic Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Hotel, along the Las Vegas Strip. This particular concert had over 22,000 people in attendance this year alone.
