Before anything else could have, Brendan took Renee by the arm and they began running through the crowd of people. Renee even said, “We have no idea who was dead or who was alive. We just started to run. He kept telling me it was going to be okay and to keep running until we were safe.”

Getting Out Of Harm’s Way

Unlike the unimaginable number of people that were killed and injured in the explosive amount of gunfire that Paddock shot off, Renee and Brendan were able to get to safety with just a few bruises. Renee lost her phone in the panic, and had gotten separated from her friends, but she had gotten out alive, thanks to the unthinkable courage of one marine.
