Everything became clear

Kelli began crying uncontrollably as officer Shaver searched her car and pulled out a massive bag of illegal drugs. He also found a bag of Vicodin and a bag of Percocet. At that point, it became clear to Kelli that she was in trouble. She begged the officer to hear her out and to believe that the drugs weren’t hers.

“Please, this is not me. You’ve got to listen to me”

“I was just non-stop, ‘Please, this is not me. You’ve got to listen to me,'” Kelli said of the terrible ordeal. “He started pulling the drugs out and putting it on top of the police car. I could see kids were getting out of their classes that I was supposed to be helping volunteering and parents were picking up their kids. Everybody was staring at me.”
