Taking Them Into Police Custody

While the police took Shannon, her mom Diane, and the fiancé, into custody, 6-year old Ricky was placed with other family members in southern Illinois. And while Michael couldn’t wait to be reunited with his son, he knew better than anyone that he would have to allow the legal proceedings to be fixed in order for him to gain rightful custody of his beloved boy once more.

How Was Ricky?

Everyone, aside from Shannon and her family, was happy that Ricky had finally been found. Illinois State Police Master Sargent Stan Diggs even shared upon taking Ricky from the home, “We let him out of the car, and he ran around like he’d never seen the outdoors. It was actually very sad.”
