Sifting Through The Details

When the police were looking through all the evidence behind the case of Brooke, certain details popped out. On the day that Courtney attacked the Russian exchange student, his wife took their 3 children and left him. Then a few of his family members shared a bit of his sordid history. His sister had said that when they were young, he entered her room in the middle of the night, partially undressed and lay on top of her while holding her down by her throat. Even their cousin had been victimized by Courtney, she said he tried to sexually assault her 4 separate times.

A History Of Assault

After investigating Courtney’s case further, investigators discovered that he had a long history of assaulting women. At the early age of 11, he started using narcotics and had been to juvenile detention by age 15. It was even reported that he tried Satanism. Then at 19, he attended a party with a female friend, who later on drove him home. While in the car, he attempted to touch her inappropriately, and when she tried to fight him off, he punched her and tried to undress her. Good thing she was able to convince him to go back to the party. He ended up getting his first conviction for first-degree attempted rape and first-degree sex abuse after that.
