Last To Talk To Her

When the parents traced Jennifer’s last steps, they had found out that her boyfriend, Rob Allen, was the last one to speak to her. Rob claims that they had spoken the night before around 10 p.m. Jennifer had called him at their usual speaking time at 10 p.m. and had said she was really tired from the entire weekend, and her first day back to work. Before that, she had called the friend of her brother Logan, who had left his cell phone at her apartment, to see how she would get his phone back to him. Apparently, during the weekend while she was away with her boyfriend, her brother and some friends had used her apartment and left some things behind.

The Morning She Went Missing

Her boyfriend had said that he had tried calling her that Tuesday morning, as they usually would speak or text every day, but her phone went to voicemail. He was late for a meeting so he tried calling her again after that, but again, it went to voicemail. So he decided to call her at work and they said she wasn’t there. That same day, authorities had officially named Jennifer Joyce Kesse a missing person on January 24, 2006. Instantly, her apartment was turned into the headquarters of her search, gathering family and friends in one place as they all tried to find her.
