Since they couldn’t seem to pin point Denise to the scene of the crime just yet, there were many speculations into who could have killed Ed. Given his mysterious background and supposed connections to the CIA and DEA, many thought that it was possible that it was someone else out for blood. And it would take another 5 years before they could figure out who it really was, and that the person they had suspected from the very beginning was the true culprit.
