White Trash

Another local, Denise Malefyt, who owned a newspaper in the same area, had even gone on to call Denise Bozarth “white trash.” It would seem that most of the people who had known Ed didn’t really like his much younger wife, but they didn’t bother to tell Ed their thoughts either. He wasn’t exactly the ‘friendly type.’ In fact, Denise shared with a friend that he was actually incredibly controlling.

Having Company

During the summer of 2007, the very same one that Ed would be found dead, the couple had a friend named Bonnie Colon who happened to be their guest on the boat for a few weeks. According to Bonnie, she said that despite all the money, Denise claims ‘he [Ed] would make her dive for food in the dumpsters behind Winn Dixie.’
